Love Is An Action More Than a Feeling

Love Is An Action More Than a Feeling

Spread the love

Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.

1 Corinthians 13:7 (NLT)

As we prepare to celebrate Valentine’s Day with candy, flowers, and gifts, take time to ponder the true definition of ‘Love.’

Love is an action more than a feeling.

Our emotions are fickle and can be affected by situations.

Genuine love is about giving rather than receiving;

Loving as opposed to hating;

Justice instead of injustice;

Respect rather than disrespect.

AND being willing to sacrifice for another.

The ultimate example of LOVE is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who gave His life for us even when we were still in sin.

Think about this as you celebrate Valentine’s Day this year.
