Fear Is A Liar

Fear Is A Liar

Fear is such a horrible thing to experience. This month has been of the times where it has crept up into my life and my family’s. I’m telling you can freak you out faster than a medical issue that your not sure what’s happening. It was tough and super scary for all of us. Okay, well, my kids didn’t seem to be affected by it and I thank God for this.

It’s one of those times you have to press into Jesus and hold on tight. Having great friends who pray with and for you helps a bunch. One sent me a verse that I clung to. I highlighted it in my Bible and held to the promise.

For he will rescue you from every trap
and protect you from deadly disease. Psalm 91:3

I can also say that the devil sure did his best to put doubt and fear into my mind. Fear lies. The words it whispers to try and get your eyes off Jesus are a distraction. It’s tough. We’re told so many times in the Bible not to fear. Sweet sisters, we have to remember who fights for us. God! It doesn’t matter the situation or what you might be facing. God is there.

God still performs miracles we just have to be quiet and listen for Him and what He’s saying to us.  I’m happy to report that God moved in my situation and I got the all clear. They found nothing. I know why. My Daddy took care of it.

Next time, fear tries to creep in give it to God. I know it’s hard to at times, but the peace that comes is amazing.

  1. Fear is a lair, but what a talented liar! Whatever he whispers sounds so much like truth. Thanks for the reminder of where the truth is actually found. Glad your daddy had it all under control.
