Thinking About Eternity

Thinking About Eternity

Today I will conclude my discussion on life after death.

When we depart this physical earth – our family, friends, social clubs, church associations, volunteerism – That’s when life will truly begin for us.

Should we not be deciding if we want to spend eternity

  in a burning, tormenting hell

Spend eternity alive in the presence of Jesus?

We have to make the decision

No one can make the choice for us.

The conclusion of the matter is this >>>>>>>>>>>

Whether we go directly to heaven, paradise, or stay in the grave——–

When we die———————–

The most important thing is to make sure we’ve gotten right with Jesus and declared Him as Lord and Savior of our lives!

The reason is friends; we will NOT stay in the grave.

Isaiah 26:19 saysBut those who die in the Lord will live;
their bodies will rise again! Those who sleep in the earth
will rise up and sing for joy!
For your life-giving light will fall like dew
on your people in the place of the dead! (NLT)

As the scripture states in 1st Thessalonians 4:14—-

14 For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.

It says God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep.

WHERE DO YOU WANT TO SPEND ETERNITY?

“For our dying bodies must be transformed into bodies that will never die; our mortal bodies must be transformed into immortal bodies. Then, when our dying bodies have been transformed into bodies that will never die, this Scripture will be fulfilled: “Death is swallowed up in victory.”  1 Corinthians 15:53-54 (NLT)
