Grow in Grace

Grow in Grace

“But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.”_____________________2nd Peter 3:18 (NKJV)

What do I mean when I say ‘grace?’

My Holman’s pocket Bible dictionary defines grace as ‘undeserved acceptance and love received from another.’ The most spectacular example of grace displayed is when God showed favor toward his created people by providing salvation for doomed humans deserving of punishment. God rained His grace on us by letting His one and only Son, Jesus the Christ, die an unbearable death that we should have experienced.

Now, God asks us to grow in the same kind of grace (unmerited favor), and learn about the person who sacrificed His life for mankind and give Him the glory, praise, and honor.
