God Looking Down From Heaven

God Looking Down From Heaven

I love science. I can’t get enough science and space and all that shows us who God is. I’m in awe of the fact that God is the creator of the universe and that He’s there and here. I sometimes try and picture what its like for Him, up there in Heaven, wherever Heaven is, and seeing us from far away. Seeing us with the depth and knowledge He has…. that must be quite a sight.

When I see images from space, like this one of the Northern Lights…

… I think of God. Is this what He sees, too? Will I sit beside Him one day and tell Him how beautiful it is? I don’t know, but that would be nice, wouldn’t it?

Here’s a video with the images of the Northern Lights…

… it’s pretty amazing. I think the reason I think about God’s view of us, of our world, is because it brings me comfort to know that He has the knowledge I don’t… He has the perspective I don’t…. and all of His wisdom and love is meant for us, for me… for our good. I like knowing that God is there, in Heaven, in space, and in us… everywhere we need Him to be.

For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8:38-39 (esv)
